Whats the best aromatherapy essential oil to use for handmade soap?

September 15th, 2011 Posted in Handmade Soap Tags: , , , , ,

Question by Tink: Whats the best aromatherapy essential oil to use for handmade soap?
I was planning on making a small batch. Wondering what other soapers have liked in the way of aromatherapy essential oils (as oppossed to perfume fragrance) oil.

I know a lot of them aren’t suitable for handmade soap because of the termperature or expense. I was thinking of orange, patchouli or cedar.

Any suggestions?

Thanks all – be well
Tink

Handmade Soap For Your Family

Handmade Soap For Your Family

Handmade soap may seem similar to the mass produced soap but this is not the case. When your family washes with everyday soap, they are using harsh chemicals which can cause problems and irritation as it strips and does not preserve their precious skin. Handmade soaps are sensational and feel great to use, they are made with premium essential oil and aromatics which protect skin and make it beautifully scented and moisturized.

Handmade soaps are gentle, and soothing and there is a soap to suit everybody in your family. Pure–Light’s range of hand made soap with natural ingredients include; tea tree, lemon, coconut, rose, lavender and jasmine among others. Handmade soaps contain blends of natural oils that promote a balancing effect to skin complexion. Often, no chemical or synthetic colour is added to handmade soaps. The natural colours are achieved with pure ingredients such as lavender which can colour soap a pale purple or blue. The colouring techniques used are natural, are friendly to the skin and have no side effects at all.

Skin has to look attractive and radiate health to enable you feel confident, so you need natural moisturizing soaps that would not age or destroy your family’s skin. In handmade soap, Glycerin is often used as a soap base because it naturally hydrates skin and creates a superior soap even though it is costly.  Big soap manufacturing companies eliminate Glycerin because it’s so expensive, but it has great benefits for skin and wonderful moisturizing lather.  It is made through a traditional process, saponification which helps keep moisturization in the soap.

Your family’s skin may age prematurely and dry if you’re using conventional soaps most of the time. These soaps may seem okay to look at but they contain cheap industrial detergents which are normally made with animal fats and are not healthy for your skin. One advantage of  handmade soap is that it prevents dehydration and cares for the skin so that cleansing is a gentle and soothing experience.  Handmade soap is skin friendly, it pampers the skin and doesn’t dehydrate or strip the natural PH balance.

The ingredients are carefully combined to benefit family skin and promote health often through aromatherapy which also makes handmade soap smell so nice. Pure-Light handmade soaps are enriched with essential oils and they consider the aromatherapy and natural advantages to the skin. In today’s world, people are beginning to note the benefits of natural soaps which are chemical free and their popularity is growing rapidly. Many people are looking for the alternatives due to the effects caused by synthetic products.

Everyone wants healthy skin for their family and should try handmade soap. It leaves skin feeling soft especially for children prone to sensitive skin or allergies, you will see and feel the benefits after the first wash. Handmade soap is a natural, affordable way to protect your family‘s gentle skin.

Wholesale Handmade Soap For Wedding Favors

If you have ever noticed when people have weddings they always hand out little gifts to their guests as way to remember their special day. You see things like matchbooks, and candles, and little tins with mints in them but rarely do you see something unusual, something original. I wanted something different for my wedding so I did a search online and found wholesale handmade soaps that made the perfect wedding favors.
You can find wholesale handmade soaps at numerous websites online and the variety that you will have to choose from is great. There are handmade soaps made out of a number of different oil, organic herbs, essential oils, and specialty milks.

Handmade soaps also come in a wide variety of wonderful fragrances. Some of the fragrances that you will find can be paired with which ever season you are having your wedding in. For example, if you’re having a fall wedding you could give out handmade soaps as wedding favors with a fragrance like apple-cinnamon, or pumpkin spice. If you’re having a winter wedding you could hand out candy cane scented handmade soaps. Or how about giving out handmade soaps for wedding favors at a summer wedding that smell like fresh cut flowers or a beautiful, crisp waterfall. And the best thing about giving out handmade soaps as wedding favors is that you can but them online for wholesale prices.

Another great thing regarding handmade soaps is not only do they come in wonderful scents but they come in a wide variety of different colors as well. You will find that you can purchase these soaps online in colors such as blues, pinks, browns, yellows, greens and many other colors so you’re sure to find a color that will go with your specific wedding theme.

If your wondering what you can do to dress up handmade soaps so that they are suitable to hand out to your guests and add to your wedding theme you can look online for ideas. One idea is to wrap the soaps in cellophane and tie them with a ribbon that matches your wedding theme colors. Another great idea is to put the soaps in mini gift boxes printed with your names and the date of your wedding. If you really wanted to get creative you could decorate miniature baskets and place the handmade soaps in them. Place little stones in the baskets as well for an added decorative element.

Wholesale handmade soaps make great wedding favors for more than one reason. They are all-natural first of all so you can be confident that you are giving your guests a gift without any harsh chemicals in it. Another great thing is that you are giving your guests something that they can actually use. On a day that is all about you it’s nice to let your guests know that you are thinking about them and that you appreciate them sharing your day with you. The wholesale prices are also an added bonus to giving out handmade soaps for wedding favors. You can often find these wonderful wedding favors for the same price as for other traditional wedding favors. Your guests will be sure to appreciate your thoughtfulness.

By the way everybody at my wedding loved the handmade soaps. In fact a friend of mine who had her wedding shortly after mine ordered wholesale handmade soaps for wedding favors too. It may be the beginning of a new trend. Maybe you will be the next one to give out wholesale handmade soaps at your wedding and everybody will compliment you on your savvy style.
