Question by mscraig1: What is best assembly order for a large antique armoire? Specifically: top goes on and the doors are hung?
Looking for the easiest way to do this with just two people. This is a very large 3 door (w/mirrors) armoire from about 1910. I am worried about the very last part where you have three doors to get hung and top to go on, then bolts to tie top down. Thought about wrapping a belt around the whole thing to keeps the doors in place, then putting the top on to get the door hinge pins in place. Anyone done this before?

As with any project start from the floor up—bottom drawers, if you have them, next mount doors, as you get ready to put the top on square up the cabinet—glue joints on the top of the cabinet– and on the sides if necessary.
