Question by tyreesesmum: How long do you leave birthday cards out?
Hubbys b’day on the 7th. When should we store cards?
Oh, and if you could give me any cool ideas as to how we could store/display them that would be great – the local school made loads of handmade cards for him and it just seems a pitty to hide them in an old box – but I don’t want them out all over the place either.

Make a scrapbook. That way you can always look at the cards :)

Didn’t know people displayed b-day cards…. xmas cards yes…. I would say a day or 2 after just like xmas.

  3. he must be a very special man when the school made lots of cards for him or perhaps he is a teacher.I would leave cards out for the full week. buy a scrap book and gum the back of each card into the pages, the back of each card only so then the front will still be visible and the cards can be opened and read.

  4. I try and gust make a scrap book on things.

I SAY ITS YOUR MONTH…BUT WHEN THE MONTH IS GONE…SO ARE THE CARDS!

  6. I usually put them up on the wall with Blu-tack. I leave them up until I remember that my birthday was a while back. I only get half a dozen at the most though. I keep special ones, and the rest go in the trash.

  7. I take the card out of the envelope, read it, pocket the cash, throw the card in the trash. All in one movement. Send ‘thank you’ within 3 days.

OK, one week for keeping them out. Then maybe instead of a scrapbook, make sort of a collage or poster art out of them that can be brought out yearly and added to with others. Hope he had a happy birthday.

  9. They last over nite then in the garbage they go!
